1961: "Pornography" Was Illegal Everywhere
Lasse Braun's involvement with the sexual revolution began in 1961. In that time he was still known with his French/Italian name AGF and with some other names. The Cold War was at its peak. JFK was President. Europe was not united like nowadays. All nations were separated by heavily-guarded borders. Freeways were still scarce. Long distance telephone calls were handled by inefficient operators and took hours to get through.
Pornography -- which is defined as the explicit representation of human sexual behavior-- was still totally forbidden in every nation, including Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, United States, etc. Most people didn't even know the meaning of the word "pornography," and no one challenged the laws, which made it illegal. Everywhere people assumed that the explicit representation of sex was bad, evil, sinful, forbidden and obscene.
